Nisping error

I'm getting error when trying to do a "nisping -Ca" from
a NIS+ master server root to make a checkpoint on
my NIS+ replica root server:

nisping: RPC error on server replica.domain.br., error RPC:
Authentication error
checkpoint failed : Error in RPC subsystem
The replica is authenticated, verifyed with nisdefaults.
I did a "rpcinfo -p server" and got a normal response from ports.
My processes running on replica are:
/usr/sbin/nis_cachemgr
/usr/sbin/rpc.nisd -r -S 2
/usr/sbin/nscd
My NIS+ master root server is running on compatibility mode.
Anyone has any ideas ?
