Hello,

i have the Problem when i want to mount a drive on an samba server.

I use fedora 8. And i heard that passwords are only encrypted sended to the samba server. But this samba-Server doesnt suport this.

How can i mount this drive under Fedora8?

mount -t cifs //9.1.2.3/e$ /mnt -o user=username,pass=password

I also set die Securityflags on: must juse plaintext password 0x20020

and: 0x37037

But i still have the same Problems. What should i do to solve this Problem.

On the samba- Server i'm not root, so i have no permissions to change something.

Regards and greetings from Germany

Carsten
