I've seen this both in IE6 and 7, but only on certain machines.
I don't really understand Jose's analysis - re-authentication should not
matter, per se...especially when Integrated Windows Auth/NTLM is set up.
My suspicion was that it had to with security settings in the browser,
call...but I have never been able to back that up.
Could one of the core developers weigh in on this? Its cause has been
elusive for some time now...
