Actually I just reviewed this other persons captures. His problem was a
little different. We found that if the client ties and fails to get a good
referral for the target it will proceed to try to use that share anyway
and may succeed. So if asking for a referral on \\server\foo returns
NO_SUCH_DEVICE the client will try to use \\server\foo\whatever anyway.

Another twist...
