Which version of jCIFS are you using?

Are you using the -server option with the JVM?

Once the corruption occurs, does it occur unconditionally regardless of
the file size or does it continue to only occur when files exceed 100k?

The Apr 20 news bullet on the jCIFS homepage describes a problem with the
Hostspot VM that causes corruption.

The quickest way to decipher problems is to get a packet capture of the
errant behavior.
