I think that license is going to be changed by Jer in the next version (to 
make it BSD, since that is compatible with GPL). That'll be easier to manage.

I have also done part of the implementation for using SLP (which is probably a 
better solution, IMHO). See the attached patch. It needs client side support 
to be added, which needs more thinking.
