Hi Clive:
We have finished our investigation on your inquiries.
The attribute RID-Used-Pool is not used in any version of windows.
I have filed a bug against the Ms-ADA3 document to reflect this info.
Please let me know if this does not answer your question.
Also please let me know if you have any other question.
Regards,
Obaid Farooqi

Subject: Active Directory RID-Set Object Attributes
Could we please have some clarification on the RID-Used-Pool attribute of RID-Set objects in Active Directory?
Specifically we are interested in the following:
* The intended use of this attribute
* How is this attribute set? It is defined as a 64-bit interval, but there does not seem to be any apparent reason why a 32-bit integer would not suffice (if it was used only for some form of RID pool counting).
regards,
Clive Ferreira
