There are sample client.txt files in dbench, see
http://dbench.samba.org/

Ronnie has also recently added the ability for dbench to directly make
SMB calls, making it possible to use dbench instead of smbtorture for
this sort of load testing. dbench has better latency reporting that
smbtorture does, although it has less options for things like fancy
authentication.

If you have a look at http://dbench.samba.org/web/smb-loadfiles.html
you can see some examples of how to use it.

Cheers, Tridge
