[Samba] ubuntu same samba 4.18.6 an two DCs but different samba services

Hang on, if I remember correctly, doesn't Linux schools (was karoshi)
have separate packages for a DC and the clients ? If this is the case,
what is such a script doing on on a DC?
Having said that, how a distro starts Samba has nothing to do with
Samba, so I suggest you ask Linux schools.

Well, at least everything is working, even if each DC is using a

Not sure why you are wedded to Ubuntu 22.04, but that is your choice.
However, while not a distro, the Debian Samba maintainer provides
up to date Samba packages for Ubuntu, see here:
