I don't believe this limitation applies to my configuration since the Samba domain name and DFS name match.

I don't think this affects my network.

I'm going to retest w/ a stripped down Samba config file and migrate less settings from Samba3 to Samba4 config file.

What's the status of DFS support in Samba4? Using Win7 and smbclient and
Linux I'm getting generic error messages related to not being able to
access the DFS.  This similar config is working in Samba v. 3.5.6.  I
spent some time Googling and didn't find much.
