[Samba] Locked read/only files problem

Hi,
would be great if someone could help me out with this.
Strange, it happens from time to time, that some files- in this case
*xls- are locked read-only, although they shouldn't be locked and are
not currently being accessed by any other user.
smbstatus also doesn't list the file at all..
Restarting the smb processes resolves this issue. This happens once in a
week or two.
Samba version is: Version 3.0.23c -2

Thnx a lot for some help!

Regards,
Michael
