[Samba] Win98/samba 2.2.4 problem w/folders in explorer

I just upgraded my samba config from Solaris 7/Samba 1.97 to Solaris 8/Samba 
2.2.4.  

All works well...except a win98 client connection now does not see any folders 
in an explorer window.  Files show up fine, but no folders.  User also has no 
problem connecting, authenticating, etc.  Looks very odd to just see file w/no 
folders!

Suggestions?
