nmbd Logging Repetitive Connections

Hi,

We've been running samba 2.0.3 on 2 SCO OS 5.0.5 boxes for some time now
with no problems. 2 days ago however, we started seeing these messages in
the syslog, one per second:

Sep  6 09:30:54 machine_xyz nmbd[8510]: connect from xxx.xxx.xxx.123
Sep  6 09:30:55 machine_xyz nmbd[8512]: connect from xxx.xxx.xxx.123
Sep  6 09:30:56 machine_xyz nmbd[8514]: connect from xxx.xxx.xxx.123
Sep  6 09:30:57 machine_xyz nmbd[8516]: connect from xxx.xxx.xxx.123
Sep  6 09:30:59 machine_xyz nmbd[8518]: connect from xxx.xxx.xxx.123
Sep  6 09:31:00 machine_xyz nmbd[8520]: connect from xxx.xxx.xxx.123
Sep  6 09:31:01 machine_xyz nmbd[8522]: connect from xxx.xxx.xxx.123

The nmbd daemon starts up once per second as well. xxx.xxx.xxx.123 is a
win98 machine. These continue even when we shut down machine xxx.xxx.xxx.123.

Any ideas as to what's going on?
