Hi,

I'm having trouble accessing a shared printer in a linux box connetced
to a NT LAN. I'm running Mandarake 7.1 with samba 2.06 I don't hava any
trouble accessing any other shared resources. It's only the printer.
My smb.conf is as follows,

  printcap name = /etc/printcap
   load printers = yes
   printing = bsd
[printers]
   comment = All Printers
   browseable = yes
   public = yes
   guest ok = no
   writable = no
   printable = yes
   path = /var/spool/lpd/lp
   printer = lp

and my printcap looks like this,

lp:\
     :sd=/var/spool/lpd/lp:\
     :mx#0:\
     :sh:\
     :af=/var/spool/lpd/lp/acct:\
     :lp=/dev/null:\
     :if=/var/spool/lpd/lp/filter:

I also tried to print without samba services. That's to print through
TCP/IP print services. But then I can see my machine getting connected
to the printer, but on the printer side it says that it's flushing it's
buffer ( oh, my documents ! ) I'm not sure if I have to configure
something from the NT server. But all the documents I referred had the
same settings as mine and they seem to work. By the way my printer is a
Lexmark Optra K 1220.

Please help,
Thanking in advance,
Dhammika
