[clug] Debian sarge, XFree4 and X11

Hi all,

Where should I be looking if a remote server is unable to
open X11 displays on my new Debian sarge desktop? It seems
my old desktop starts up something that listens externally,
but there's no corresponding listener running on my sarge
desktop.

Ideas?
