Also, the Commonwealth online banking system works well in Linux.  As far as I 
can tell it doesn't use Java at all except to push advertising.  I've used it 
before w/o installing Java and all that's missing is the banner ad.  Of 
course they won't support you if you ring them unless you use IE or Netscape 
4.* but that seems to be fairly typical.
