Nope. I sent them some feedback using the link presented in the html which
presents the applet. Here's the body of that reply:

Dear Mr Barker,

Thank you for your email.

Unfortunately, we do not support Linux/ Unix.

The incompatibility of Linux/ Unix is an issue, which has been made
highest priority. We are currently working on a fix, so that we can
continue providing the service that customers come to expect from our
website & Internet Banking.

We are currently undergoing testing and will support Linux/ Unix when we
are confident that it is compatible with our Internet Banking.

We are working hard to ensure that our system is compatible with wider
range of Internet browsers, than those currently supported (see URL
below).

We appreciate your patience and consideration in the matter.

If you have any further enquiries, please feel free to email me again.

It didn't seem clear to me that they'd understood my initial point, so I
responded:

I would like to clarify. The Internet Banking site has worked fine for me
under LInux for the last 3 or 4 years. It stopped working on Saturday -
for me and several other people also using Linux.

It was unclear from your response as to whether you were treating this as
a "bug" or a "we do not support <blah>, and to do so would be a feature".

I completely understand St George not traditionally "supporting" Linux
given its marketshare - thankfully the marketshares are changing.

Interestingly, your compatability-determining script gets several things
wrong. Including "javascript enabled". Which is somewhat amusing given the
window it appears in was opened using javascript.

'twil be interesting to see how they respond. And whether I'll be able to
pay this bill that's due today :)
