Do you mean I must get the source? which version?

Using current setup:
{machine 1}:~ # net ads join -U ad_user1
ad_user1's password:
[2014/02/18 17:12:40, 0] utils/net_ads.c:ads_startup_int(285)
  ads_connect: Server not found in Kerberos database

krb5.conf is now:
[libdefaults]
        default_realm = {Domain}
        dns_lookup_realm = false
        dns_lookup_kdc = true

Great! It still seems to work like before after a reboot.

I can do kinit ad_user1
and get krb5 ticket but
wbinfo -t still has not trust. RPC call failed.
