I opened https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9916 earlier.  I 
hadn't seen your note yet so the bug mentions the vfs module in addition 
to the fakeka code.  Unfortunately I can't submit patches, but if it is 
really needed I can create one and try to get someone else to pass it 
along.
