Anyone else with in-explicable autobuild failures?

I'm not quite seeing that, but I've got "make test" taking two hours to 
complete with over a thousand failed tests and two or three errors.  
This is on Linux Mint-14 with ext4.  I was going to turn off barriers in 
the file system and set ldb to not fsync (a suggestion of metze's) 
before doing anything else.

I'll pull master tonight and run a fresh test.  My last run was two days 
ago and I was seeing this behavior.
