the patch for the time format seem to be a fixed patch from bug 8784. Can you
attach the patch to the bug report so that it can be reviewed there? We need
the bugzilla review anyhow as this is something that we need for 4.0 and 4.1.

The "Rewrite named.txt" patch I'll push to master.

For the other patches, wouldn't it make sense to also file bugzilla bugs for
them (if there aren't already ones)?
