Thanks Michael, I didn't look at the earlier lines.

Goey,

1) Can you access this share over IPv4?
2) Can you ping this IPv6 address (you will need to allow ICMPv6 echo through your firewall, by default they are blocked).

It looks to me like he did.  The first two times he tried the following:
 
net use x: \\2001-db8-cafe-67--4.ipv6-literal.net\data
 
Only the third time did he try without the resource.
 
In all three cases he got "System error 67 has occurred.\n\nThe
network name cannot be found."
