Hi all,

with the release of Samba 4.0.0, the 3.6 release series has been turned
into the maintenance mode, which means only major bugs will be addressed.

Samba 3.5 has been turned into the security fixes only mode and 3.4 is 
discontinued.

Samba 4.0 bugfix releases will be available every six weeks (and on
demand, of course).
