Type config option for pam_winbind?

I'd like to submit a patch that adds an "authtok_type" configuration
option to pam_winbind and pam_winbind.conf that allows one to
(minimally) configure the password chat. This would replace the "NT"
in  "(current) NT password", etc, with a configurable string. It's a
very simple addition which makes me wonder if there is a good reason
it hasn't already been done. Is there? The "NT" is going to confuse
our users.
