Samba4 build failed

Hi,

I have run into a problem tring to build and install Samba4 on a Debian 6.0
system with the latest stable release of Python installed, version 2.6 i
belive.  I installed GIT to do the download.  Everything appears to work
correctly until I get to Step 2: Compile Samba4 in the "TO BUILD, RUN THIS"
section.

cd samba-master - works
./configure.developer - works
make - fails with a FAILED TO BUILD error, and a window that pops up to say
a Kernal error has occured.

Thats where I'm stuck at.  Any suggestions would be apreciated.
