in-memory LDBs

Hi Kamen,

Why not use a temporary file? We use temporary files in ldb testing
already (see for example lib/ldb/tests/test-tdb.sh). This has the
advantage that when the test fails you can look inside the ldb and see
what state it is in.

I don't see any advantages to using an in-memory ldb over a temporary
file.
