Latest ipv6 changes broke (the deprecated) smbmount, smbmnt and smbctool

As I wrote on IRC, would it be a scandal if these deprecated utilities
are dropped ?

/me dreams of dropping about 50 smbfs-related bugs in the Debian
packages..:-)
