need help regrading running samba over ipv6

Hi,
 
Am using samba3.0.22, which doesnot happen to support ipv6. The patch
available for ipv6 ( at http://www.litech.org/samba/ ) also doesnot seem
to work. Have tried the latest version Samba-4.0.0.TP4 but that also
doesnot work.
Are there any plans for providing ipv6 support to samba in near future??
