Thanks Jerry, I compiled up that version of Samba and just used its
"net" command to leave and join the ADS realm successfully on those
machines.  I am still baffled as to why the 3 on one campus worked and
the 3 on the other campus did not, despite being on the same VLAN and all.

In any case, we're working now, I really appreciate the idea.
