I had to travel on business last week so that threw off
my previous plans.  And since I'll be traveling next week 
to the Usenix Technical conference, I think we should have
the first beta out this week (to prevent further delays).

This means that i'll be locking down the SAMBA_3_0 cvs 
tree at 00:00 GMT on friday.  Try to get done what you 
can, but if a particular bug is not finished, then work 
on it for the next beta (I'm going to try for two week 
periods give or take some between beta releases).
