Drive already connected Error in Windows 2000

Some standard questions...

What service pack level for W2K?
What operating system are you running under samba 2.2.7?
Do you have a reproducible test case you can post?
Anything out of the ordinary in your smb.conf file?

Sounds like an operating system resource-limit issue...
