	I think that was the original intent of the 2.0/2.1 split, but the
problem is that 2.1 has taken too long.  We might have seen the same kind of
issues with Linux 2.0->2.1 if 2.1 had taken much longer, and had a "killer"
feature like PDC support is for Samba.
