Subject: 2.0.4b: unacceptable long browsing times from Windows2000 Beta3

This happens both with Windows2000 Server and Advanced Server (Beta 3
Final - build 2031 I think).

In Explorer, browse the network, double click on SAMBA server, than double
click on any share - it takes more than five minutes! till list of files in
this share appears!

On SAMBA I see something like this in log:

[1999/06/03 20:52:02, 1] smbd/service.c:(488)
icp-340e4eib9ll (149.202.201.102) connect to service source as user nobody
(ui
=104, gid=102) (pid 3577)
[1999/06/03 20:52:17, 1] smbd/service.c:(512)
icp-340e4eib9ll (149.202.201.102) closed connection to service source
[1999/06/03 20:54:52, 0] lib/util_sock.c:(384)
read_data: read failure for 4. Error = Connection reset by peer
[1999/06/03 20:57:08, 0] lib/util_sock.c:(384)
read_data: read failure for 4. Error = Connection reset by peer
[1999/06/03 20:59:25, 0] lib/util_sock.c:(384)
read_data: read failure for 4. Error = Connection reset by peer
[1999/06/03 20:59:25, 1] smbd/service.c:(488)
icp-340e4eib9ll (149.202.201.102) connect to service source as user nobody
(ui
d=104, gid=102) (pid 3662)

I have full Netmon capture with text printout (bear in mind, that it is NT5
netmon, that is not compatible with NT4). I'm happy to send it to anybody
interested and to provide any additional info.

Note, that if share is mapped first and then accessed through mapped drive,
it works normal. Browsing NT4 server also works as expected.
