Something changed between beta1 and beta2 (well, I HOPE something changed! :) )
and the packaging/RedHat/makefile-path.patch file included with beta2 doesn't do
much to modify Makefile.in to give it RedHat-esque installation paths.  Was this
purposeful?  Perhaps Makefile.in was changed but makefile-path.patch wasn't
changed to reflect that or something.  Anyway, at

is a new version of makefile-path.patch that patches Makefile.in to have more
sensible RedHat paths.  If fellow RedHatters need it, take it.  Do with it what
you will.
