Holy password changes, Batman! I pulled down the latest CVS code
(10/12/98 6:17PM CT) and all the password change code is working. I mean
*ALL* of it.
Under Digital Unix 4.0D, I can now change passwords from BOTH WinNT and
Win95 using the appropriate OS change password option. I have these
options in my smb.conf file:
encrypt passwords = Yes
passwd program = /usr/bin/passwd %u
passwd chat = *password* %n\n *password* %n\n
unix password sync = Yes
As long as the existing passwd and smbpasswd match, both passwords gets
changed from both clients! This is fantastic! Great work Luke and the
whole Samba team!
