Scope

Informatics is still an emerging discipline, and the high-level skills
required by the European IT context point out the request for
commonly accepted guidelines for innovative academic curricula
and a shared methodology to base the teaching on proper learning
theory frameworks.
Since 2006, IEE conferences investigate the role and strategies of
Informatics education in Europe, becoming a major forum to share
professional experiences,
innovative ideas and the use of new technologies to support learning and,
to initiate and strengthen cooperation projects.

The conference will be of interest to all the people involved in
Informatics education
in Europe, from lecturers teaching daily to Department Heads and Deans who
shape policy and curriculum at their Universities.
The conference is not exclusive and experts in any area within the
spectrum of Informatics
are welcome and, while the focus is on Europe, academics from elsewhere
in the world are
also invited to participate.
