*The WCSC 2007 *(_http://www.ee.iitb.ac.in/wcsc/_)  is an excellent 
platform to bring together and present your work amidst a gathering of 
OEMs, TEMs, Operators,VC community, Innovators and the Academia who meet 
at the WCSC for a focused discussion on the developments in Wireless 
Convergence domain, its developing Eco-System and the hurdles faced. A 
series of paper presentations, Industry presentations and a Panel 
Discussion is being organized to highlight the need for Wireless 
Convergence, what's driving Wireless Convergence and the breakthroughs 
that are happening in different regions of the world while we move 
towards 4G. The representation is likely to cover both the Academia and 
the Industry in a balanced way

*The following Range of Topics are planned to be addressed and the 
papers are invited from any of the following research areas:*

1) Radio Level Convergence (changes in PHY and MAC for 
Multimode/Universal mode communication)

2) Adaptive/Hybrid Wireless Convergence Protocols and Networks

3) Wireless PAN, LAN, MAN and WAN Convergence

4) 4G Ethernet

5) IMS and DAB/DVB approaches towards wireless convergence (VoIP, VoD, 
IM, IPTV/DAV/DVB)

6) Security Architectures under Wireless Convergence

7) Industry and Academic initiatives/innovations in Wireless Convergence

8) FCC and other relevant regulations

9) Venture Capital activities in Wireless Convergence

10) Required Innovations in Wireless Convergence

*Target audience for the Workshop:*

The subject of Wireless Convergence is targeted to a broader category of 
audience across Networks and shall be represented by OEMs, TEMs, Telecom 
operators and WLAN/WiMAX operators. Apart form the Academia, Industry 
representation is likely from OEMs/TEMs/Operators/Solution 
Providers/VCs/Support professionals like Industry Analysts, Lawyers, 
Consultants etc

*Important Note:*

Only original and unpublished paper will be considered. Prospective 
authors are invited to submit papers of no more than six (6) pages in 
double-column IEEE format including results, figures and references 
before March 1, 2007.

/Extended Abstracts with a minimum of two pages (Bibliographic 
references mandatory) will also be considered where there are 
reservations or time limitations exist for submitting full Papers/

Accepted papers will be published in the IEEE WoWMoM conference 
proceedings including IEEE Xplore. Select few papers may be given an 
opportunity to present to the audience
