DWL-900AP+ and MAC munching

I am using Firmware 2.5 on all machines... except one, which has
firmware 2.3.  The problem however started before the 2.3 was on.

2.57 is out but I cannot get a version which has more than 17dB transmit
power, which does not work for me.
