same sub-network

98 bytes ICMP echo (ping) request message sent from laptop=20
The destination PC received the packet, and this packet becomes
106 bytes.=20
There are 8 bytes automatically added into the packet.=20
Before IP header, it adds: aa aa 03 00 00 f8
At the end of the packet, it adds: 41 43.

The extra bytes are 802.2 SNAP ecapsulation bytes.=20

The destination PC IP stack does not understand the unknown 0xaaaa
protocol type. ping was failed.

If insert wired Ethernet card, the smae laptop and Linux OS works fine
and ping was successful
If installed with Win20000, the smae laptop and same silver-card works
fine and ping was successful.

Looks like this is the problem with orinoco_cs and silver card.

Any body knows how to solve this problem?

Thanks.
