D-link DWL 650 WEP

Hello to everyone, i'm trying to use WEP with a D-Link DWL with a 
Lucent AP 1000, i have read driver version pcmcia_cs 3.2.1 for my 
application with embedded micro. The sequence in WEP set up that i 
follow at the moment is to set the following RID
before the enable command:
1) set in RID 0xfc24-27 the four WEP key (5 characters Key).
2) set the Default Key 0-3 in RID 0xfc23.
3) set RID for authentication 0xfc2a to 2, i want WEP active. 
4) set RID for WEP 0xfc28 to 3 -> WEP on and discharge not encrypted 
packet
