Any success with patching orinoco-0.11b with wireless extension 14 ?

Hi, I would like to check whether anyone has upgraded wireless extension 
patches by Jean Tourrilhes for orinoco-0.11b ?

It seems a very important patches, but wonder why it is missing from the 
orinoco drivers.
