Good point, I should know better. Eventually, I would like to use
DHCP. Right now, I can't ping the router. The Network Configuration
application doesn't find any ethernet device. When I try to add one, it
can't find my card. (It does allow me to add many other cards.)

I did this and it made no apparent difference in the output from dseg.

There must be more than just copying the file to /etc/pcmcia. Do I have to
chmod it or something? What else am I missing?
Do I have to change config.opts? network.opts?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
