Hi,
i am an amateur trying to configure the orinoco card on my linux box.
The ultimate aim is to be bale to put the card in promiscous mode and sniff the
packets possibly using airsnort. So far i have been able to compile the 2.1.18
kernel and am using the pcmcia 3.1.33 package. But i am having problems with
configuring the card. Here is what info i have been able to collect on my
system so far.

I beleive i do'nt have the configuration right. Could someone please point me
to some info on the pcmcia/card configuration. Or is this a problem with my
orinoco_cs driver? Would it be remedied if i use the latest pcmcia 3.1.34
package?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Sumanth Varma.
