Setting up wireless

Greetings,

I am looking to get involved in the Adelaide wireless network, I think this is 
a great idea and fun to play with.

I am located in the CBD, (just off carrington st.) is there any one located 
near to establish a network? 

Also, do you have any reccomendations on Wireless hardware (Cards, Antennas, 
refrences)? (Must have Linux support, or even *BSD :))
