a few minutes ago.  I'm gunna blame the html
formatting in the original message causing me
to lose the content.

Now for what I really meant to say...

It's an interesting idea, worthy of further investigation.
My gut feeling is that it will be more efficient to
use two antennae.  It is difficult to design an
antenna which is efficient over three octaves.  The
design effort and expense of construction
will probably be greater than two specialist antennae.
After all, how much does a pringles can cost (free
chips included)?
