I did some quick performance tests today.  With the CF NIC (ARM)
talking to an Orinoco-Silver on my laptop (2 feet away), the
throughput was 200kbps.  laptop to PC w/silver in the garage about
30 feet away through a wall was ~3Mbps.

The cube <-> laptop transfer caused a great deal of TX errors, and
on the laptop, I had 12 non-errors.  However, I know that at least
most of the tx errors were not really errors, because the FTP
I did was about 1300 packets, and they were received on the cube,
even though the laptop showed errors...

garagepc <-> cube was the same slow 200kbps speed.

The garage pc has the same errors:
