How could get the two cards communicate?!

Hi all:

Now I have some problems with my installation of the Lucent Wavelan IEEE PC card under the RedHat7.1.The card with a ISA-PCMCIA bridge.The kernel is 2.4.2-2.
The card is silver Turbo 11Mb.

When I inserted the card into my desktop, the system identified the card, send out two high beeps, and the power LED also bright stable.

Then I configured the network, I named the netdevice is eth1(Have another 3Com ethernet card).
Such, 192.168.0.1/24, and another same wireless card is 192.168.0.3/24, no gateway.
And I configed the all the cards with ad-hoc mode.
The system use the old wvlan_s.It seems well for the card.

When I reboot the machine,but the bootlog shows that :
Bring up eth1; Delaying eth1 initialization. [Failed]
But when I used ifconfig, it shows both the 2 cards, and their configuration.

Then I pinged the own IP of the PC card,it worked. But I pinged ohter same PC card in another computer, it failed. I don't know how to make the card work.
Please help me!
