Linksys WMP11 under non-standard Linux

I have a lightweight distribution of Linux (Vector Linux 3.0) with
which I'm trying to get a Linksys WMP11 PCI card to work. I've tried
absolutely everything-- even some drivers from http://linux-wlan.org/ ,
which wouldn't build correctly.

The latest version of Wireless Tools seemed to install without any
mistakes, but the Host AP driver says it's missing an "iw_handler.h"
when I run "make pci" (I believe the WMP11 is a Prism 2.5 card). Any
ideas on what's gone wrong?
