Trying to connect three linuxmachines together.

         jump1 channel 11 jump2 channel 13
[Linuxbox 1] <-----> [Linuxbox 2 (middle router)] <----> [Linuxbox 3]
    10.0.0.1 10.0.0.2 10.0.1.1 10.0.1.2
          ESSID network1 Ad-Hoc demo mode ESSID network2

Jump 1 works just fine.
For some reson jump2 doesn't work. Atleast not width the wavelan2_cs
driver.

Is there any known issues about having two radio interfaces on different
ESSID's ? or is my computer just broken.. ;)
The problem is not on an IP level since I can monitor the radio strength
and by that see that it doesn't connect or find anything eventhough they
are in the same mode, the same channel, the same essid and in the same
room..

I noticed that I can easily hook up linuxbox 3 to the AP we have, on
channel 7 and Managed mode, but Ad-Hoc and directly to the other box..
nope.
I don't think it's possible to have port_type=1 on one interface and
port_type=3 on another so since jump 1 works that can't be the problem
eather.
The logs is just not saying anything...

hmmm
should I go and have a coke instead, maybe that helps.. ? :)

/ Paul

PS: What's best, Ad-Hoc demo mode or some IBSS mode for my purposes ?
I'm just doing links.. DS:

some data:
Linuxbox 1
wvlan_cs, one cpu, kernel 2.4.7, one radio interface and one wired
on different subnets

Linuxbox 2
wavelan2_cs, two cpu's, kernel 2.4.7, pcmcia_cs 3.1.28, two radio
interfaces and one wired. Doing routing between the interfaces.
All interfaces on different subnets.

Linuxbox 3
wavelan2_cs (have been trying wvlan_cs to), kernel 2.4.2, pcmcia_cs
3.1.26, one radio interface and one wired on different subnets.

All running redhat 7.1
orinoco silver cards
