Orinoco on Compaq Deskpro 4000, HELP !!!!

Hi,
I'm using Lucent Orinoco PCMCIA Card with ISA-PCMCIA Adapter in Debian Woody kernel 2.4.9 on Compaq Deskpro 4000. 
But I get some error messages :
'eth1: failed to reset hardware (err = -19)'
'orinoco_cs: register_netdev() failed'
while initialized a Card, and ORinoco not worked. 
Can anyone explain me what these error messages mean ?
